Astrata’s GLP500 Rapid Deployment Unit is quick and easy to install for temporary, real time tracking and monitoring applications. It offers a comprehensive range of capabilities over and above an after theft recovery device. The state-of-the-art unit is a self-contained, battery operated tracking unit capable of being fixed to moving assets in amatter of seconds. Using secure magnetic mounts and anti-tamper sensors the futuristic and aerodynamic form of the GLP500 makes it suitable for non permanent vehicle installations, like tracking containers, special event tracking or ad-hoc vehicle tracking. It is based around Astrata’s proven GLP (Geo-Location Platform) allowing users full access to most of its hardware features within a self-contained unit. Assets can then be monitored travelling along authorised routes, moving in and out of zones, all without the need for complex installations.
